Description
Cap hemispherical, then lightly convex with a low wide umbo, Ø 5-14 mm, smooth to fine radial fibrillose on a white background, dark purple brown to almost black.
Gills white, with a floccose white gill edge.
Stem 10-26 x 1-1.5 mm, shiny and white at the apex and with purple black fibrils below the thin membranous evanescent ring with a brown edge. Flesh thin, whitish. Smell none.
Occurrence
On rich soil mixed with humus and covered with litter in broad-leaved and coniferous woods on sand and clay.
Saprophyte.
