Smooth Parasol
Description
Cap globose, then convex to plane, Ø 5-8 cm, smooth, whitish to flesh or light creamy ochre. Gills white to flesh.
Stem 6-8 x 1-2 cm, white, with narrow, protruding, white ring. Flesh white, becoming brown. Smell faint.
Occurrence
On humus-rich soil, at the edges of broad-leaved and coniferous woods, in roadsides, parks and in grassy, locations with rich soil.
Saprophyte.
