Cystolepiota pulverulenta

Description
Cap hemispherical, then expanding, Ø 5-9 mm, floccose woolly felted, white to beige or cream, with a somewhat reddish ochre centre and a few floccose teeth at the margin.
Gills densely concentrated, white to cream.
Stem 1-2 cm x 1-2 mm, white below the booted white ring on a white to creamy background covered with fine lighter fibrils. Flesh white. Smell faintly sweet.

Occurrence
On loose moderately rich soil mixed with coarse litter or branches on edges of forests on slopes on marl.
Saprophyte.
