Orange Peel Fungus
Description
Fruit-body irregularly cup-shaped to flattened saucer-shaped, Ø 2-10 cm. Inner surface bright orange to red-orange. Outer surface white felted, creamy- to orange-yellow.
Occurrence
Occasionally in groups on virtually bare soil or rich clay, loam or sand in broad-leaved and mixed woods, parks, avenues and lawns, often along edges of paths.
Saprophyte.
