Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Sporangia all or some of them crowded, forming a cluster of small groups, short-stemmed or sedentary, 2-4 mm high, Ø 0.5-1.5 mm, globose or egg-shaped to shortly cylindrical, rounded at the top, shiny yellow, brown-yellow, chestnut or red-brown. Plasmodium yellow.

Occurrence
Common on dead foliage, fallen branches, occasionally a few centimetres above the surface on living herbaceous plants and small tree trunks.
