Powdery Pupa Fungus
Description
Fruit-body club- or rod-shaped, 2-4 cm x 3-5 mm, tough, yellowish, the upper half, which is sometimes slightly thickened, with a white powdery mass of conidia.
Occurrence
Often a few fruit-bodies arise from (moth or) butterfly pupae buried in leaf- or moss-covered soil.
