Hymenochaete tabacina

Description
Fruit-body crust-like, occasionally with brackets, which protrude up to 1 cm, spreading over a few square centimetres to a length of several decimetres. Upper surface of brackets zoned, felted, orange-brown to grey-brown. Lower surface concentrically undulate, finely felted, matt, tobacco-brown or rusty brown to coffee-brown, with acute, scored margin.
Spore-print colour whitish.

Occurrence
Not uncommon on wood of deciduous trees (Willow) in damp, rich shrubberies.
