Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Fruit-body thick, crust-like, round to elongate, Ø up to 4 cm. Upper surface spiny, cream to dark ochre, with ciliate margin. Spines often with split top, 1-4 mm long.
Occurrence
On branches of deciduous trees (Oak).
Saprophyte.
