Description
Cap convex to plane, Ø 7-9 cm, sticky, shiny to matt, pale golden yellow to lemon-yellow.
Gills close, forked, white to pale yellow.
Stem 5-7 x 1-2, white, later with grey veins. Flesh white, turning grey.
Spore-print colour light ochre.
Edible.

Occurrence
Fairly common near Birch.
Forming ectomycorrhiza.
