Description
Cap conical to bell-shaped expanding, Ø 1-2 cm, smooth, velvety matt, from the rim to halfway finely striped, light to dark olive-brown grey, often patched orange or red, with a lighter sharply furrowed rim.
Gills curvedly attached, white, often orange patched.
Stem 6-9 cm x 1-2 mm, yellow to bright orange to the base, after damaging excreting an orange latex, the base somewhat thickened and white to yellowish felted. Flesh watery, orange milk-producing. Smell absent.
Occurrence
On mossy branches and leaf litter (Beech) in deciduous forest on clay.
Saprophyte.
