Description
Less than 1 cm: Use magnifying glass.
Cap hemispherical to vaulted, with a somewhat depressed centre, Ø 2-5 mm, radially furrowed, smooth, matt, white, sometimes with an ochre-coloured centre and with a sharp rim.
Gills attached to somewhat declining on the stem, wide apart.
Stem 1-3 cm x 0.2-0.4 mm, horsehair-like, elastic, smooth, shiny, white flaky on a red brown background when young, with a white top. Smell absent.
Occurrence
On decaying Ivy leaves in deciduous forests with a dense Ivy undergrowth.
Saprophyte.
