Description

Cap hemispherical to vaulted, sometimes with a depressed centre, Ø 2-7 mm, radially furrowed, smooth, matt, whitish cream, with a brown centre and sharp, wavy and fine notched toothed rim.
Gills wide apart, dirty white to cream, ending in a shoulder free of the stem.
Stem 5-10 x 0.1-0.2 mm, horsehair-like, smooth, matt of shiny, dark brown to black brown with a whitish top. Smell absent.
Occurrence
On decaying leaves and blades of grasses, sedges and bulrushes on moist sites like reed marshes and marsh forests with Alder and Willow.
