Description
Cap convex to nearly plane, Ø 1-3 cm, smooth, matt, pale brown to hazel, paler at the margin.
Gills close, whitish.
Stem 3-5 cm x 1-2 mm, cream to pale brown, elongated into a hairy root. Flesh brownish. Smell musty.
Spore-print colour white.
Occurrence
Fairly common on cones of coniferous trees, in coniferous woods on sand.
Saprophyte.
