Description
Cap shell- to fan- shaped, flattened expanded, stem attached excentric or central, Ø 6-17 mm, leathery, hairy-felted, lateron balding from the centre, reddish brown or brown to light brown, when young with a lighter downward curved rim.
Gills rather close to each other, brown with a whitish lamella edge.
Stem 3-4 x 1 mm, brown, covered with little pale hairs, lateron balding. Flesh tough, brown. Smell faint, after raddish.
Occurrence
On stumps and trunks of deciduous and coniferous trees in parks and deciduous and mixed forests on dry nutrient-deficient soils.
