Description
Cap convex to expanded, umbilicate or umbonate, Ø 2-7 cm, dark sepia to reddish brown, paler at the margin when damp; smooth, shiny, ochre-brown to grey-brown when dry.
Gills pale grey-brown to dingy pink with red-brown tinge.
Stem 2-7 cm x 2-6 mm, grey-brown to dark brown, silvery fibrous. Flesh watery whitish cream. Smell flour-like.
Occurrence
Common in unmanured to moderately manured grasslands.
