Description
Cap hemispherical to convex, Ø 2-2.5 cm, fibrous-felted to scaly, blue violet with light brown-grey centre.
Gills adnate with a tooth, lilac to blue-grey, with dark edge.
Stem 4-6 cm x 3-4 mm, hollow, longitudinally fibrous striped, lilac with silvery lower surface, paler at the apex and at the base. Flesh grey. Smell none.
Occurrence
On dead wood and stumps of deciduous trees (Alder) in marshy Alder woodland and deciduous woods on damp soil.
Saprophyte.
