Description
Cap convex to expanded, Ø 3-9 cm, sticky, yellow to yellow-brown with an ochrous yellow centre.
Gills violet to yellow-brown or cinnamon.
Stem 5-10 cm x 7-15 mm, white-yellow to pale lilac, with a vague, rusty brown cortinal zone and with a white-downy, slightly swollen base. Flesh whitish yellowish. Taste mild. Smell faint of radish.
Spore-print colour rusty brown.
Edible.

Occurrence
Fairly common near deciduous trees in deciduous woods and avenues.
Forming ectomycorrhiza.
