Description
Cap convex to plane, Ø 4-10 cm, sticky, yellow-brown to chestnut, often striped at the margin.
Gills whitish to cinnamon.
Stem 5-15 x 1-2 cm, silky white, with rusty brown cortinal zone. Flesh whitish yellow-brown. Taste mild.
Spore-print colour rusty brown.
Edible.

Occurrence
Near Pines on dry sand deficient in humus.
Forming ectomycorrhiza.
