Description
Cap bell-shaped to expanded, Ø 2-4 cm, matt, finely scaly, sulphur-yellow to golden yellow, white striped, acute margin.
Gills pale yellow to sulphur-yellow.
Stem 5-7 cm x 5-8 mm, smooth at the apex, pale yellow, below the limp, evanescent ring finely yellow floccose or pruinose, sulphur yellow, with swollen base.

Occurrence
Fairly common on humus-rich or composted soils of flowerpots and flower boxes, only in greenhouses or indoors.
Saprophyte.

Related and/or similar species
Can only be distinguished with certainty from Leucocoprinus denudatus by microscopic features.
