Description
Cap hemispherical at first, then conical to flattened, Ø 3-6 cm, shiny, strongly slimy-viscid, viscid when dry, light to ochrous yellow with orange-yellow centre.
Gills wide, white to cream.
Stem 3-6 cm x 6-10 mm, smooth, whitish yellowish, ochrous yellow to yellow brown below the slimy ring zone, slimy, with brown fibrils when dry. Flesh whitish. Smell flour-like.
Occurrence
In broad-leaved woods on calcareous clay or loam.
Saprophyte.
