Pixy Caps

A group of small, fragile, honey-yellow or yellow-brown to red-brown Agarics with campanulate to expanded caps, growing among and on mosses and on wood. Spores ochrous, rusty brown. In Britain 50 species of the genus Galerina occur. Most species can only be identified with certainty by microscopic characters.
