Auriculariopsis ampla

Description
Fruit-body ear-shaped to flattened saucer-shaped, pendulous, Ø 10-15 mm. Upper surface of the bracket felted hairy, attached nearly centrally dingy white. Lower surface smooth to wrinkled, light ochre to cinnamon. Flesh thin, elastic.
Spore-print colour white.

Occurrence
On dead, often still attached branches and twigs of deciduous trees, especially Poplars.
Saprophyte.
