Description
Cap convex or bell-shaped to expanded, Ø 5-15 mm, silky white-fibrous, with grey-lilac tinge on a yellow-brown background.
Gills thick, decurrent, pale, becoming brown.
Stem 1-3 cm x 1-3 mm, often twisted, white with lilac-brown tinge. Flesh brown.
Spore-print colour white.
Occurrence
On fruit-bodies of Russula species, occasionally on Lactarius species in deciduous woods and avenues on poor humus-deficient soil.
Parasitic.
