Description
Cap hemispherical, later expanded, Ø 3-10 cm, partly translucent striped, brown or yellow brown to pale cream brown or pink brown with a fibrous-scaly dark brown centre.
Gills pale cream to pink.
Stem 7-10 x 0.5-1 cm, fine fibrous, light brown. Flesh white. Smell flour-like.
Occurrence
On peat, usually between living Peat-moss, in moderately nutrient deficient peat-moss-grassland.
Saprophyte.
