Campanulate Naucoria
Description
Cap convex to flattened, Ø 1-3 cm, ochrous yellowish brown to pale brown.
Gills ochrous yellow to pale cinnamon brown.
Stem 4-5 cm x 3-4 mm, ochre-brown, and dark at the base. Flesh yellow-brown. Taste bitter. Smell sweet.
Occurrence
Common near Alder in marshy Alder woods, in deciduous woods with Alder and in Alder windbreaks.
Forming ectomycorrhiza.
