Description
Cap hemispherical or convex to irregularly flattened, Ø 2-7 cm, velvety, matt, cream or bright yellow-brown to ochrous brown.
Gills close, whitish pale yellow to pale brown.
Stem 2-8 cm x 4-8 mm, fibrillose, pale brown to pale yellow, dark brown at the base. Flesh whitish to pale brown. Taste flour-like. Smell flour-like.
Occurrence
On wood chips in osier beds, town parks and public gardens.
Saprophyte.
