Mycenas
The genera Mycena and Hemimycena together form the Mycenas.
An extensive group of small, graceful, long stemmed, thin-fleshed, saprotrophic Agarics with convex or campanulate caps with a striped or translucent striped margin and pale gills. Spores white. In Britain more than 100 species of the genus Mycena and about 15 species of the genus Hemimycena occur.
