Scale Heads
A group of slimy or dry, scaly, whitish or yellow to orange-brownish yellow Agarics, often growing in clusters on wood among Sphagnum or on fire sites. Spores pale brown to rusty brown. In Britain more than 30 species of the genus Pholiota (Kuehneromyces) occur.
