Genus Conocybe

A group of fragile, often long stemmed, Isabella, pale yellow or cream, or yellow-brown or reddish brown Agarics with campanulate or conical to convex-expanded caps, some of them with a membranous ring. Spores yellow-brown to ochrous brown. Most species of the genus Conocybe (Pholiotina) can only be identified with certainty by microscopic characters.
